Workin' It Out (sometimes)

I am not very stable in my workout routine. I know I need to be more stable, but sometimes I loose track of time, then I'm too tired, or it's too late and I know that if I work out late, I'll be awake all night long. So I just workout when I think about it early enough. Or when I know I need to. Or if I know I'm going to a wedding and want to look good. And then the wedding is canceled and I quit working out. That happened this summer. I should have kept it up. I was loosing some weight and inches, and now I'm just sitting there, ten pounds lighter, not loosing anymore.
But, it's crazy...I eat better than most of my skinny friends!! I'm not skinny. I'm what they would call obese in medical field, but since I'm not medically certified, I just say "fat". Yes. I really don't get why or how. I'm active. I move all the time. When I'm not sitting at the computer. But I only do this a few times a day, in intervals. Usually during nap time. And you can imagine how often my teething one year old sleeps... Anyway, I move a lot. And like I said, I eat well. Salads, greens, protein, just the right amount of carbohydrates. But I stay the same weight; I move only move enough to maintain the weight I'm at. It's annoying, but at least I'm not gaining any more. I really need to drop the weight instead of maintain, but see above. I always decide to work out too late, then I'd be up all night. It's a viscous cycle.
I feel better when I workout though, instead of just the usual amount of moving. I like to get my heart rate up, I like the way I feel after a good jog in the evening. I like to show my kids that any areobic activity is not only fun, but good for you. I think I'm going to go out on the road now, for a jog...

  1. I know you eat better then me ;o) it may be the amount you eat?? You can eat to many good foods to. They say you should eat 10 calories per pound of body weight. So say you are at 200 pounds( I have no clue your weight) if you wanted to maintain that you would eat a 2000 calories diet. But if you want to lose you must eat less then that. And you need to move closer so we can workout together :O)
